so the super sub hangs up his baby faced assassin boots …

solskjaer-ole070407getty.jpg

i reckon most footy fans would say that they appreciate and respect ole. even the most ardent of leeds or city fans would agree he is great footballer and that his achievements are unparalled - how many players have scored 128 goals in 367 matches, 150 of those games as a substitute … ? not many. indeed, he is the epitome of the super sub in its incarnation.

and absolutely crazily, fergie managed to pickup ole gunnar solskjaer for £1.5m! now that’s what i call butter!

w1nner says no

no to the arrest that is - in 20 years time there will be no charge for wireless access and it will be like fm radio - a service to be consumed, and mostly funded by advertising

 http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/6960304.stm

i remember the warchalking march on the internet - stupid as it seems - but there were actually very large investment banks in the square mile controlling billions of pounds of sterling but having zero remote access protection - so much for the millenium bug being the worst thing to happen to the noughties … no one got arrested for that …

credit crisis

August 21st, 2007 · No Comments

when will we learn?

over time we have gone thru cycles of boom and bust and they have all been inevitably overdone. recent years have soared the markets and made multi billionaires … and big name investment banks have had their hand in packaging, cutting, splicing and poisoning, repackaging, recutting …. sub prime mortgage debt loan/CDO/ABSs until a veritable flurry of turds in a box have circled the globe … a smelly game of pass the parcel played on a boat that’s going down …

the street has taken the opportunity to wind up the sale of sub prime mortgages to unprecedented levels - and the price to pay is very shortly going to become obvious … american mortgage resets on sub primes are due to occur soon … the average low credit mortgage could go from 500 to 1500 dollars per month … what an impact … pretty sure this is going to affect some people …

general feelings are to avoid financial stocks until they can collectively figure out what the total damage (especially once the flight to quality in tbills starts to reverse) … and maybe think about tech stocks - their sell is surely overdone.

this whole credit/sub prime/investment bank storm makes the dating game seem like the bloody crying game!!!

whats happened to summer this year?

all year round males of all ages eagerly await the arrival of the sunny days … purely for the fact that the ladies blossom (dress down) and sun makes everyone feel better. so how p!sed off am i that there’s not a whisper of a chance of shade of light … and despondently there’s no t and a tracking around … god i love my country - bit i’d prefer it if there was were better days …
